Student code of conduct

  • Students should abide by the norms of discipline and instructions given by the competent authority from time to time.
  • The students must be regular in his/her attendance for theory and practical classes. In case the student's attendance < 80% in the theory lectures and the practical separately, his/her term may not be granted.
  • Students should demonstrate decent behavior in the institute campus.
  • The student name will be struck off the roll calls if he /she remains absent for more than one month without prior written notice.
  • The use of Mobile Phones is prohibited in the class room, computer lab, laboratories and library.
  • The student should not participate in any political or anti-social activities.
  • Smoking, drinking, use of drugs, Gutka, chewing gums etc. in the institute premises and campus is strictly prohibited.
  • Attendance is compulsory for seminars, guest lectures, examinations, project etc.
  • Ragging of students in any form is not allowed. Strict disciplinary action will be taken if found guilty.
  • Students should carry their identity card within the campus, dress code is compulsory in the institute.

ACTION AGAINST RAGGING

  • Maharashtra prohibition of ragging Act.1999 has the following Provision for action against ragging.
  • Ragging within or outside of institute is prohibited.
  • Any student convicted of an offence of ragging shall be dismissed from the institute and such student shall not be admitted in any other institute for a period of five years from the date of order of such dismissal.
  • Who-so-ever directly or indirectly commits, participates in, abets or propagates ragging within or outside the institution shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term of up to two year and / or penalty which may extend to Rs. 10000/-
  • Anti-ragging committee has been assembled accompanied by Anti-ragging squads to lend a hand to new comers.
