ACIIE
Alard Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (ACIIE) is established to provide Guidance, Consultation and Facilities to students for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
The ACIIE provides guidance and platform for development of Entrepreneurship skills in students by way of a well structured plan starting with an online entrepreneurship capability assessment test. This test also identifies the weaknesses a student has in his or her aptitude for entrepreneurship. The students are provided with expert lectures and procedural inputs on how to make a business plan, how to execute a marketing plan and how to procure a bank loan. Entrepreneurs from the pharma field are invited to present motivational and inspirational talks.
The ACIIE also provides a platform for Innovation in the campus in terms of expert faculty and facility. The pilot plant for oral dosage forms, research labs, Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF), animal house to perform pharmacological experiments, Industrial collaborations and facility for literature survey and Documentation provide them with an ideal environment for Innovation and Incubation. The scientific committee fortifies the efforts of the ACIIE by arranging expert lectures on IPR, Plagiarism and ethics in research, and academic research writing skills. Mostly students take up research projects from pharma industry to develop solutions. The memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with various pharma and herbal industries provides for the funds to carry out innovative research.
